Anyone cares for English Tea :-)
I am a tea person, and that has influenced Adam to be one too. He will demand an earl grey for his tea now :-)
I guess that is a plus point here where England is basically a tea culture though the 'coffee' has crept into their lives.
I like tea mainly because we can get good and creamy milk here - and also the sweet and sweet cakes here - this is heaven for me !!! Especially after a heavy reading tasks for my study - I need tea to 'calm' me down.
A funny fact from my mum who advise me not to take too much tea because to a chinese belief it is a 'cold' drink which will affect your -- uhh sperm count !!
But with the cakes and biscuits - I can't resist hey ;-)
Erin is joining me today for tea time, just the cake haha

Reflections in Bristol 1
I have been thinking really :o)
Will I accept things so 'easily' and have the 'courage' to ask others for things they do not want if I were to be in my homeland - boleh land??
I told Ann, I don't think I bother to look at it and may have thought: why take in a second-hand stuff when we can buy a new one ourselves.
I guess this is a 'humbling' situation for us to ask for stuff in UK really - few driving factors: £££,£££ still is £££ that is all about.
We would not want to waste any £ here when we we living under allowance.
We would not want to own stuff when we know we will not bring them back home.
We want to save, save and save as much as we can..
I guess situation will change one's behaviour and attitude - who says staying in £ land is a bed of roses, especially for people like us whose has about 6x different in currency conversion rate. Adeline mentioned with us about her experience in Melbourne trip - she said the country looked wonderful but she sensed people were striving for survival (I hope I quoted right), that sums up nicely to our case.
I think the Lord has taught me few things:
1. Learn to accept - even things that people do not want anymore
2. Learn to humble - we need one another- there is offer and acceptance at the same time
3. Be simple - I need to know what are 'wants' and 'needs'
4. Trust God and and know that He will provides - He never fails!!
In the same case, we need to rely on people to take us for home group at night now since we have no own transport - from this we learnt to accept what is offer, grateful that helping hands are many and God will provide means to the ends.
Sorry to bore you with this :0)
Little Red Ridding Hood 2
Yes, we spotted this deserted pushchair - little red ridding hood - outside the house few door away from our place. It was soaked in the rain and we thought the owner would want to dispose it. Thinking for Erin's sake, we knocked the door to see we could have it, but no one in. So we left a note to the owner to call us if they really intended to throw it away. Soon enough they called us and asked us to pick it up, came with all the accessories come with it.
We spent half day cleaning it and 'dressing' it up - the second photo is the comparison between Erin's first pushchair and this new 'mamas n papas' branded one :-) - Erin is happy to sit in it indeed.
We did a quick search in the net and found that it costs £500+ to have it with all the accessories - the one we bought just costed us £13 - what a big different !!!!
Oh, I just can't stand they even bought the tiny umbrella - about £25+ as shown in the catalogue - what an expensive item to have in this 'strong gale every now and then' bristol land :oP
This experience led to my reflection in later post.

Little Red Ridding Hood 1
It was raining heavily, Ann, Erin and I was on our way back from Kingwood. We spotted this little red riding hood standing outside our neighbour house few doors away.
We thought she was really pity and also 'pretty' to us, so we left a note to her family member and told them we wanted to adopt her. And soon after that evening, her family called and happy that she stays with us, so Ann happily brought her into our home.
We have a new member added to Tews :-)
