Something I just can't be bothered
Did I mentioned I started to read the label when I buy food??
Yet, this is something I choose to ignore :-)

Glasgow
A real disappointing city to me, nothing much to see really.
The kids were excited because their first McD visit in UK happened to be in Glasgow :-) They got these 2 free toys from 2 cute elderly ladies. Ann an I were puzzled why they bought kids' meals for themselves instead (who says old folks are disallowed to order kids' meal in McD).
Nessie - Where are you??
This is the famous Lochness site, Adam and Eden were excited to visit it but too bad Nessie is too shy to show up.
I prefer to marvel at this Loch Lomond

It took me 12 hours - nearly made a trip back to KL by flight !!!
Here they call the stop over places in the highway - Services where you can take a break for coffee, patrol and most importantly toilets. Because of stopping by these 'services' - a 6 hours journey to Edinburgh (our first stop) became 12 hours. Poor driver and that's me !!! Basically it took some while for me to get used to the Vauxhall I hired (too high tech for me to handle:P) and the speed I drove 60mph - too slow until there was this lady driver shook her head when she cut over me - so embarrassing !!!

Highland - Scotland
Survival Kits
Before the road trip, there are some essential stuff we need to get.
1. Sat Nav - I got this offer from ASDA for £30, but only comes with European maps
2. Car seats - It is the law to have car seats for children under 12. Eden needs a car boosters like you see below (costs me £6) and Erin need a proper child seat which we got it from a church member (phew save me some ££). Adam reached the height and weight requirements, so he can do without one.
3. The Car!! I got this Vauxhall New Astra as my hired car for the trip. It was too high tech to me. They have this auto drive mode which I do not know how to use, auto adjust driving seats, auto car lights, auto weather sensor where they will determine when to turn the heater on, on the wipers and lights. Later I found there is an inbuilt navigator - Bugger !! Wasted my £30.
Of course, we brought some food to eat during the journey, because it was a long drive and proper jackets for the cold weather :-)
